PROJECT OVERVIEW
Cat Bi International Airport plays a key role in Vietnam’s airport system and in the development strategy of socio-economy of Hai Phong, northern coastal provinces and the Red River Delta.
Cat Bi Airport is located at: Le Hong Phong Street, Thanh To Ward, Hai An District, Hai Phong.
Currently Cat Bi airport serves as a bridge to connect other provinces and countries. According to statistics, the routes from Cat Bi airport to most destinations such as:
- Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh City)
- Danang Airport (Da Nang)
- Inchoen Airport (Seoul)
- Cam Ranh Airport (Cam Ranh)
- Phu Quoc Airport (Phu Quoc City)

PROJECT DETAILS
The terminal was started on January 24, 2015, with a capital of VND 1,450 billion and officially put into use on May 12, 2016, the investor is Vietnam Airport Corporation,. The terminal is designed according to international standards, creative and intimate architecture, associated with the typical image of the buffalo fighting festival in Do Son, Hai Phong, on an area of 7,500m2 and a floor area of 15,630m2 with two separate departure and arrival routes, serving both domestic and international routes, the capacity to handle 1,000 passengers / peak hour, equivalent to 2 million passengers / year.
